About this community

Survival without an economy plugin

Oria SMP is designed around the pace of ordinary Minecraft. Instead of buying progress from a server store, members gather their own materials, trade with one another and develop a world intended to remain available over time.

A few deliberate additions

  • Trust-based building: the server records block and inventory changes for staff review, without requiring land-claim plots.
  • Diamond exchange: player-to-player trades take the place of admin shops or virtual money.
  • Opt-in combat: players fight only when both sides agree or when participating in an organised activity.
  • Proximity chat: Simple Voice Chat is supported but is not required to connect.
  • Continuity: the community's published plan is to avoid map resets.

Oria is 18+ and whitelisted. Applicants are reviewed before their Minecraft accounts can join.

  • Do not steal or change another player's builds without permission.
  • Do not use x-ray, fly hacks, noclip or other unfair clients.
  • PvP requires agreement from everyone involved.
  • Do not exploit item-duplication bugs (the rules explicitly allow TNT duplication).
  • Keep shared terrain tidy and use only one whitelisted Minecraft account per person.
