Terms of Service

1. Operator, agreement and eligibility

GameSearchHub Servers is a GameSearchHub module operated by GameSearchHub. By accessing the service or creating an account, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 16 years old. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian permits your use. If you act for a company, community or server operator, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.

2. Accounts and security

Provide accurate account information, keep it current, protect your credentials, and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law says otherwise. Google or Discord sign-in may be used only with an email the provider reports as verified.

One person or organisation may not create accounts to evade a suspension, voting limit, payment obligation, verification requirement, or moderation decision. We may require email or server ownership verification and may restrict sensitive actions until verification is complete.

3. Server listings, ownership and user content

You remain responsible for content you submit. You confirm that it is accurate, lawful, not misleading, and that you own it or have permission to use it. This includes names, trademarks, logos, screenshots, banners, descriptions, links, videos, events, Owner Hub posts, reviews and marketplace content.

You grant GameSearchHub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, resize, format, display and distribute submitted content as needed to operate, secure and promote the service and its listings. This licence ends when the content is removed, except for cached or backup copies, moderation records, and uses already required by law or legitimate dispute records.

Verification indicates that an account completed the displayed verification method at a point in time. It is not an endorsement, guarantee of identity, guarantee of server quality, or certification that all claims are true. You must keep connection details, ownership status, supported versions, pricing and community links current.

Private ownership evidence must relate to the claim and must not contain unnecessary sensitive data. Never submit passwords, secret keys, full payment-card details, government identity documents unless we specifically and lawfully request them, or unrelated third-party data.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the service to:

• publish illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, hateful, sexually exploitative, or rights-infringing content;
• promote malware, credential theft, scams, unsafe downloads, unauthorised gambling, or unlawful goods or services;
• impersonate another person or server, submit a false ownership claim, or misuse a trademark or copyrighted work;
• manipulate votes, reviews, favourites, clicks, player counts, rankings, promotions or analytics through bots, scripts, paid abuse, duplicate accounts or coordinated deception;
• probe, overload, scrape at disruptive volume, bypass rate limits, defeat reCAPTCHA, interfere with security, or access non-public systems without authorisation;
• harvest personal data, send unsolicited messages, or expose private information without a lawful basis;
• use Owner Hub, support, reports or appeals for threats, spam, manifestly unfounded notices, harassment, or repeated abuse.

Normal browser access, reasonable search-engine indexing, and integrations expressly provided by us are allowed. Separate written permission is required for bulk extraction, resale of directory data, or automated access that is not covered by an available interface.

5. Discovery, votes, reviews and paid placement

Organic discovery may consider verified and genuine activity, listing completeness, freshness, status, votes, engagement, quality and trust signals. Exact weighting may change to improve relevance and prevent manipulation. A vote is subject to the displayed cooldown and anti-abuse checks. We may invalidate activity that appears artificial or duplicated.

Sponsored and promoted placements are labelled and kept distinguishable from organic results. Payments for subscriptions or promotions do not directly modify organic rank_score. Availability, placement, impressions, clicks and commercial outcomes are not guaranteed unless a specific written offer states otherwise.

Reviews must reflect a genuine experience and may not be exchanged for undisclosed compensation. Server owners are responsible for configuring vote rewards and integrations lawfully and securely. We do not guarantee delivery of a third-party or in-game reward.

6. Subscriptions, promotions, payment and cancellation

Prices, included features, billing interval, taxes and renewal terms are shown before checkout. Payments are processed through Stripe. Unless the checkout states otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage payment details, invoices and cancellation through the billing portal in the dashboard or by contacting support@gshservers.com.

Cancellation normally stops the next renewal and access continues until the end of the paid period. Downgrades may require cancellation of the active plan before another plan can begin. Failure or reversal of payment may pause paid features. Removing paid features does not entitle a listing to retain plan-only presentation or promotion.

If you are an EEA consumer, mandatory withdrawal and digital-service rights may apply, including a right to withdraw from certain distance contracts within 14 days. If you ask for immediate performance during that period, the amount due for service already supplied and any lawful loss of a withdrawal right depend on your express request, acknowledgement and applicable law. To exercise a statutory right or request a refund review, email us with the account email and transaction reference. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer remedies.

Except where law or a specific offer requires otherwise, fees for a completed promotion period or service already supplied are not refundable merely because traffic, votes, players, revenue or another business result did not meet expectations.

7. Moderation, notices and appeals

New or materially changed listings may be reviewed. Verified owners and servers may qualify for faster publication under the displayed workflow. We may edit formatting, reduce visibility, reject, quarantine, suspend or remove content, features or accounts where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, investigate risk, protect users, comply with law, or maintain accurate discovery.

Moderation uses automated risk signals and human review. Where appropriate, we provide the reason through the dashboard, email, or support. Decisions are applied in a diligent and proportionate manner, considering context, severity, recurrence, intent and user safety.

Anyone may report a public server through its report form. A notice concerning allegedly illegal content should identify the exact listing or URL, explain the legal or factual basis, provide reliable contact details, and include a good-faith statement that the information is accurate. An affected account holder may challenge a decision by opening a support ticket or emailing us. Include the decision, reasons for disagreement and supporting evidence. Repeatedly submitting manifestly illegal content or manifestly unfounded reports or appeals may result in a proportionate temporary suspension after warning where required.

9. External communities, availability and liability

GameSearchHub Servers is a discovery and management platform. Independent server owners control their game servers, communities, staff, rules, purchases and external websites. We do not operate or endorse them merely because they are listed or verified. Use external servers and links at your own judgment.

We aim to keep the service secure and available, but do not promise uninterrupted operation, permanent retention of a listing, error-free status data, a particular ranking, or compatibility with every game or third-party API. Maintenance, security events, provider failures and changes outside our control may interrupt features.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential business losses, lost profit, lost opportunity, loss caused by an independent community, or events outside our reasonable control. Any aggregate contractual liability of GameSearchHub is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited, including liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, fraud, wilful misconduct, or mandatory consumer rights.

A business user will compensate us for substantiated third-party claims caused by its unlawful content, infringement, fraud or deliberate breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law and subject to our reasonable mitigation. This does not apply to consumers beyond their liability under mandatory law.

10. Ending use, service changes and legal terms

You may stop using the service, remove content you control, cancel a subscription through the billing portal, and delete your account through account settings. Some billing, moderation, security and legal records may remain as explained in the Privacy Policy.

We may change features or discontinue part of the service. For material changes affecting a paid feature, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable and any remedy required by law. We may update these Terms for service, security, business or legal changes; the revised date will be shown here and material changes will receive additional notice where appropriate.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer an account or these Terms without our consent; we may transfer the service as part of a lawful reorganisation or sale while preserving applicable rights.
